Here in Madagascar there are "Fadi's". This is essentially anything that is taboo or has a curse attached to it. There are days of the week that are good to do some things and days of the week that are not so good, or forbidden for you to do something. In camp it is Fadi to wash clothes on a Thursday. All other days of the week are OK. The picture below shows you what our laundry looks today and as you can see today is not Thursday. Pity it is not considered Fadi for mosquito's to bite you!
